Here I have this handmade table lamp from the workshop of the Danish ceramist Erik Askholm for you. Erik and Susanne Askholm have been running their workshop in Svendborg on the island of Funen since 1967 and are known for their unusual design. This lamp has a brown decor and is a fine example of Brutalism, very current in the 1960s. The solid shape of the body, in combination with the decor, makes this lamp an interesting eye-catcher and a must for lovers of brutalist design. This means that it can be set up well as a single object, but it is also a very nice addition to your home in combination with other pieces. You can find more ceramics by Erik and Susanne Askholm in my other ads.
Condition: undamaged with normal signs of age and signature on the bottom.
Dimensions: diameter below approx. 12cm, height with lamp socket approx. 34.5cm. The lamp has an E27 socket.
