Here I have this handmade candle holder for you by the artist Jette Hellerøe. Jette Hellerøe is one of Denmark's outstanding ceramic artists and worked for Haslev Ceramics, among others, until she opened her own studio in Lønstrup in 1972. She worked there until 2001. This large candlestick from the 1970s was very elaborately crafted in a brutalist style. The multifaceted painting on the outside and inside make this candle holder an outstanding art object of this era. Condition: minimal chips on the omissions, otherwise undamaged with normal signs of age, with signature on the underside.
Dimensions: diameter approx. 22cm, height approx. 19cm.
